Besides connecting Los Angeles Jews to their culture and religion, there is also a more immediate connection that the JLA forms between the southland and Israel. It’s leaders, Eyal and Tzippy, were each born in Israel and later found their way to Los Angeles. Eyal moved to Los Angeles when he was nine years old and has since developed a passion for teaching Judaism to people all over the country. His hobbies include teaching, his family and boxing. Tzippy speaks five languages and was also born in Israel before she wound up in the United States and ultimately Los Angeles.
Eyal and Tzippy have been running the Jewish Learning Academy for seven years and have raised a lovely family together since their marriage.
